Just turned off the pump to feed the fish and freeked out to see my new Purple Pseudochromis with these cottony white spots on ALL his fins, got him Sunday and he's been hiding in the rocks.... last night he seemed ok and tonight this....
I have a bottle of "Quick Cure", says "Contents - "Tri-chelated" formula of 99.20% Formaldehyde. .75% Malachite Green.
And it says to use 1 drop per gallon!
My tank is 180 gallon, this bottle is no where near big enough.....
I appreciate any suggestions, and will sit here waiting for answers,. :(

Don't do it, won't work. You need to get him out to a qt tank. Treat there with hyposalinity or a good copper compound like cupramine. I see you have other fish. They may become infected and may need removing as well.
Read some posts below, lots of good info and we'll be happy to help you through it if necessary.

I don't have a qt tank........
I was so freaked out, I put 100 drops in, over the spot the purple fish is hanging out. How much time do I have?
Thanks

It their still eating and acting normal, you should have some time. I would highly suggest treating in a separate qt thank though. If your tank is infected, It will need to by left void of fish hosts for 4-6 weeks. The parasite will go through its lifecycle and die.

As far as I can see, the other 6 are eating and behaving normally. I have TONS of snails, crabs, shrimps and stars aswell. what about them?
Also, the purple fish might be impossible to catch, since it is hiding in the rocks....

I know ick can not survive pas a certain temp. like 82 degrees or something. When I had my fish only tank I raised the temp for a couple weeks and it seemed to do the trick. If you have sensitive corals or other creatures that might be impacted by a temp. raise I wouldn't do it.

Something to look into.
