Hi all,

I'm not new here but I haven't posted for a couple of years anymore. So, to those who don't know me, I'm Stan, born in the 1960's and active within this magnificent hobby for just over 50 years now. My parents started off in this hobby back in the 1960's. So, I just grew up with it.
I've kept several types of fish throughout the years but I always had a specific focus on livebearers (both wild and breeding forms). I've judged internationally at livebearer shows, I'm running my own informative (so, not commercial by all means) website regarding livebearers, I write relevant articles for some relevant livebearer magazines in Holland, Germany, France and now also in Denmark, I set up my own guppy lines (I do have knowledge of guppy genetics), I'm a board member at Poecilia Netherlands (our national livebearer society), I'm also an editor overthere, I lead the national guppy (both wild and breeding forms which includes endlers as well) working group, I've participated vivaristic events for several years where I offer my rare livebearers or where I just display them when I do my "livebearer infotainment" as I like to call it. Further more, I have paid visits to endemic areas where certain aquarium fish occur and I also have collected fish myself in certain areas of this globe.
Eventhough, I'm a seasoned aquarist and breeder, there's always still a lot to learn. Claiming to know it all, would be too arrogant and to be honest incorrect. Whether you're a novice aquarist or a seasoned one, we all keep on learning new things...

I'm always in for some interaction with others (no matter your level)... We can also, learn from eachother...!
