Red veins on Green Star polyps

When I had first bought this coral, I did notice these tiny, red, veinish strings coming out of or attached to it. I didn't think much of it and put it in my tank. Now I relocated the frag and i can't help but see that it's a lot more noticeable. Is this a normal part to of coral or?

Good but your fish may eat it.
Just remove it with tongs or tweezer.
It would do best in your sump if you have one.

I'd suggest moving it down into the sandbed. This will take care of a couple of things as it will isolate BOTH the GSP and the macro algae before they both take hold in the aquascape of your tank.
