I opted to go with the reverse respiration method to control snails, pest and bacteria being introduced into my aquarium via plants. It's easy, cheap and it's working for me. Also, the plants appear lusher and initially seem to be growing very well. I also use the snip method before placing plants. Just curious if anyone else has tried it and what your experience and observations are. Have you found a plant that didn't do well using RR? I've tried it on the following:
Java fern, microsorum pteropus
Anubias, various
Christmas moss
Erect moss, vesicularia
Crypt spiralis
Val Torta
Rotala
Echinodorus, Amazon sword
Ceratopteris, water sprite
Alternanthera reineckii
Mayaca fluviatilis
