Well I ordered some Ricordea from Dr. Mac and Sons yesterday. Should be in by Friday. I really wanted to add some color to the tank so I thought this should do the trick. I bought the 9 pieces for $99. Sounded like a good deal. She told me that that the pieces that he (I assume she meant Dr. Mac) will pick were very colorful. I guess we will find out.

Now I just have to find a place for these little guys. From what I have researched, they like more light and water movement than other shrooms. But since I have a 250w MH hanging over the tank, I am pretty sure they don't want to be placed near the top. I am thinking middle to lower placement would be best. But I do have a question. Can I put them on a vertical surface? Or do they need to be placed on a fairly horizontal surface? I was thinking they would look cool glued to a vertical (or nearly vertical) rock in the tank. I sure would look different. Plus it would save that precious horizontal area for future corals.

You can put them there and you have enough light for them, even vert...but they are gonna move to where they want, kinda like anemones only slower, LOL.

When we gonna see some updated pics of your tank? Last one of the full tank is from Nov. I had a coral triple in size since Nov.....

Thx for the response, Kevin. I may try to put a few vertical to see how they look.

Good question. Actually not much has changed other than a few problems cropping up with my Zoo's (disks turning brown) and Torch coral (tentacles turning clear) which I am in the process of correcting. To make a long story short, not only are we doing an overhaul of our store (painting, remodeling, new merchandise coming, etc...), but the parents also bought a new house so I have been helping them with renovations over there. As a result, I was kinda out of the whole "aquarium thing" for two months (as evidence of me not posting much in December or January). Now everything has settled down and I can get back into my reefing routine. YAAHH!!!!

When I get the ricorida in, I will snap some pics.
