I have a slight case of rust algae in my tank.
I have since lowered the amount of food that I put into the tank and I also do %10-%15 water changes weekly.

My mbunas have started to chow down on the rust algae.

I am assuming that they know what they are doing and that it is safe for them to eat. I just wanted to get input from anyone who knows about these things.

thanks...

Yes, mbunas are algae eaters and ideally you should have a little excess light in there so that you do have a running crop of algae growing on rocks and stuff. Veggies are good for them!
