Sea slug/nudibranch.

it is definatly a nudibranch. I cant recall the scientific name but I do remember reading their live span in captivity is weeks to months.
 
Well I am not sure what the common name might be...Pink/purple nudi?? But it is Chromodoris sp. possibly bullocki.

A large nudibranch (about 2 inches) commonly known as a Blue Dorid nudibranch, although this is the common natural coloration (purplish). Photographed off Mainit Point near the dive resort community of Batangas, southern Luzon island, Philippines.

Identification: Hypselodoris bullocki (recently reclassified from genus Chromodoris to Hypselodoris)
