Hi everyone! First time poster. Tried posting this on reddit but no one responded.

Inherited this 20 gallon for free. It was sitting outside in a garage for awhile, and the actual structural integrity seems fine. It held water for about an hour before I had to dump it out. But the silicone seems to be chipping away, I’m worried pieces will fall off and fish will try and eat them. Or that it won’t be structurally sound in the long run.

Also if anyone has any hardscape ideas I'm all ears. I've never had a tank shaped like this.

You need to take the aquarium apart, remove all the old silicone and re-assemble it with new silicone.

You might get away with just resealing it, but i wouldnt risk it.
