Sparkling gourami sexing?

I'm trying to get a breeding pair of sparkling gourami. The guy at my LFS said this was most likely a female. Anyone able to confirm? This is the best picture I was able to get as she(or he) is new to the tank and quite shy

It does look like a female however, if you use a flashlight, shine it through the fish's abdomen from behind and you should be able to see the ovary with eggs in a pink(ish) hue.
