Spiny plants

Hi. I bought some plants that are supposed to have red leaves. They grow like weeds but red ,no. I do have co2 and put iron and use Fertilizer also root tabs. Take a look at the pix.

Are we supposed to be looking at the cryptocoryne? These are usually only red on the underside of the leaves. I think some species colour on the top of the leaf under high powered lights or if they at the surface.
