Stand Hinges

whats the best kind hinge to use in your stand? i have my sump in my stand that is half covered, but the hinges i used have rusted away after only a few months. any suggestions?

I'd try to find some stainless ones. They will corrode as well, but should last a lot longer than steel. Brass might be an option...not sure how it reacts to SW. Or possible use regular hinges and give them a couple of coats of polyurethane. Then keep some silicone grease on the hinge pins to keep the salt out. Just a thought.
