Stand?

Im not sure if this is appropriate for this forum section but here goes. Does anyone have any nice plans for a 10 gallon stand, or where to get a good deal on a premade one? I have a 10 gallon currently sitting on my dresser and it really doesnt do it justice. Any advice would be great. Admins if this has to be moved, I'm sorry, I couldnt find a section for it.

PetSmart, PetCo, LFS, all the mail order places have 10 gallon stands. Even Wal-Mart carries them.

In the DIY forum there is a sticky on DIY stand:

This basically gives the plan for the guts of a sturdy stand for a large tank & you can skin & finish to your taste.

For a 10 gal, however, that plan is overkill. But you can use that as inspiration to design something yourself.

Another possibility is Big Als which is famous for competitive prices... http://www.bigalsonline.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?inCUR=US. I don't recommend Wallmart because of their labor practices.

Thanks guys. I think I will opt for a nice wooden one with a door on it(if that exists) If not the DIY plans look solid I dont recommend Wal-Mart for anything betowess This forum is great. Real help, real fast, unlike other sites that reply every other week.
