Sword plants!

I recently decided to plant one of my tanks, but was very disappointed by the selection at the pet store I visit most often. Today, however, I stopped in at another to pick up one something for my dog, when I found..

Beautiful plants! Sword plants galore!

For swords, they had (all Tropica plants):
Echinodorus martii (maior)
Echinodorus osiris
Echinodorus 'Ozelot' green
Echinodorus palaefolius var. latifolius
Echinodorus "peruensis"
Echinodorus quadricostatus "magdalenensis"
Echinodorus 'Rubin'
Echinodorus x barthii

Also catching my eye were:
Alternanthera reineckii "roseafolium"
Crinum calamiytratum
Hygro corymbosa "compact"

I didn't get a chance to look at the other plant tank, because I was rushing off to see a movie.

If I remember correctly, they were almost all $4.95, a couple were $6.95 and a couple for $9.95 (all Canadian dollars)

Another tank had a bunch of plants just kind of piled together labelled as "Amazon Swords $1.50".. they weren't in great shape, but looked salvageable.

I'm so very excited. I'm planning on going back in the next day or two to buy some plants. Anybody have experience with any of these?

Echinodorus 'Ozelot' green

I think there a couple different Ozelot varieties, but mine is georgeous, mottled leaves green and red, wider leaves than many swords, I love it!

I have a Hygro corymbosa, pretty plant,it grows rapidly and adapts quickly, if you get this one prune it regularly and plant the trimmings.

And i have an Amazonicus aswell its a really nice sword plant.
the prices are all the same here for all plants 6.95 Canadian or something like that.

I think i have this one too, but never really found an id to the perfect match. i'll attach a pic for you guys and maybe you can tell me if this is the same. I just pruned it lastnight,

The compact hygro has multiplied like crazy (clip and plant), so one or two will do ya.
