Beginner and by mistake brought 2 albino cichlid (Pseudotropheus Socolofi) for my 7 gallon US tank (The mf shop keeper said they'll be fine)

Both are 2 - 2.5 inch long and one is agressive (yet not too much).

I cannot afford a new tank and don't have anywhere to give them away (also I kinda like them I don't want to let go)

I may be able to afford a new bigger tank in 3-4 months
I'm planning to divide the 7g tank into two parts for this 3-4 month period for them both to survive

Will it work? Or they'll die?

Most likely they will do poorly. That's not enough room for them. I would have returned them to the shop that sold them to you as they clearly mislead you on what should go in a small tank like that. If you have no other options, you lose nothing by trying but if they do not do well, I would not spend a lot of money trying to fix them unless that includes getting much larger tank.
I suggest you always do your own research on new fish you are interested in BEFORE making the purchase so you know what you are getting into before you get there. ;) This site : Pseudotropheus socolofi (Powder Blue Cichlid) — Seriously Fish is a good one that tells you their best requirements or ask here on Aquarium Advice.
