The mystery behind the mystery snail

I've always wondered what made them so "mysterious" maybe it's the fact they lay eggs above water, maybe it's the way they siphon air, maybe it's how they learn to eat food off the surface, or how they seem to almost float around like a magic carpet sometimes. Whatever it is I still want to know why my snail keeps leaving murder mysteries of dead guppies for me. Although he did get very big for a snail so now he is no longer in a tank with small fish because he likes to snack on mama guppies giving birth poor things.

That's what I've read as well. I'm guessing your snail didn't kill the guppies though. They may have just died giving birth and the snail scavenged them.

I watched it happen didn't quite know what was going on once I clued in the guppy was already dead.
