when it came time for the morning feeding, I noticed my angelfish wasn't coming up to nibble like it usually does ... so I figured it was in a mood (gets that way sometimes)
so, I fed my other fish a few helpings of flakes and then removed my hood and canopy to do some maintenence on the plants, and noticed several small schools of molly fry hiding in the weeds which were covering the surface of the water.
ah ha ... so that's why the angel wasn't eating - it had gotten it's fill of live food already
so I've cleaned out a 10 gallon from storage, filled it up 50/50 with water from my main tank and new water treated from the tap, I also took a small h.o.b. filter off my goldfish storage bin and put it into service with a sponge around the intake
looks like I got 4 silver, 3 marbled and 5 black, but will have to wait a few weeks to see what their colors really turn out to be
