I just saw an otto laying on its side on a rock then when I went to catch it it swam to the surface then spiraled down to the bottom and attached itself to the glass, I thought it was dead but it doesnt seem healthy either right now. :?

edit: Are they known for sleeping on their sides??

I have an otto and I have seen him sucking on the bottom of the heater upside down. I've also seen him on his side on a plant leaf.

My otos sleep on their side if they overate. They sit balanced on the fins like corys and they will just kinda list over on the round belly. usually this causes a startle and they swish off embarrassed.
