is there any way to reverse the flow of an undergravel filter so it pushes out? because that way you can airate the sand
undergravel filter flow.

I have seen powerheads designed for that purpose, but I suppose you could take any powerhead and flip it over on the filter tube.

Reverse flow does not work with well sand, only gravel.
