I bought this juvenile Loach a few months ago. The vendor identified him to be a Berdmorei Tiger Loach.
I already have a seven year old Berdmorei, that I bought as a juvenile. His juvenile markings were substantially different.
Although the new Loach is only a little over an inch long, he is absolutely vicious. He chases & nips YoYo's, Modestas & Kubotai loach tankmates that are much larger.
This little guy is obviously a Syncrossus Tiger of some type but I haven't been able to positively identify him.
I don't think he's a Berdmorei. My best guess is a Syncrossus Helodes, but haven't found any pics of a juvenile Helodes.
Andy, Aiken have either of you guys ever seen one of these.
