UV Sterilizers

Any body like them hate them wish they had one? I've heard big waste of $60.00 (us). I have found 2 cheap ones I'm interested because the are cheap an 8watt and a 9watt one hangs on the tank and has its own propeler (i think) the other could go in line on my magnum canister.
