I know they’re probably not bugs… but the little white bug looking things have kind of come out of nowhere. I just added some driftwood and new plants about a week ago. I did boil the wood! And then these guys just appeared. I have a nerite snail in there currently who doesn't seem to mind them so far? But they're everywhere and all up on the filters too. They even swim around the tank sometimes. Are they copepods? Water fleas? Seed shrimp? Or are they something else? I wanna make sure they aren't dangerous before introducing my betta to the tank.IMG_9387.jpegIMG_9400.jpeg

Probably came in with the new plants. They appear to be either Copepods or Ostracods and either would be excellent food for the Betta. (y)
