I am worried my 1 catfish isn't eating or maybe not enough.
I have him in my 55gal. I just dont think he is getting the food in time.
Not that he is sick...
is there something that sinks to the bottom for him to eat?

Thank you.
Richie

What type of catfish do you have?

Catfish eat a variety of things. They're benthopelagic or benthic usually (residing near or on the substrate), so some seek out small crustaceans to eat. Others, however, eat algae, fish.

Most catfish in tanks will eat an algae-based or a shrimp/fishmeal-based sinking wafer. Hikari makes the highest quality readily-available wafers. Wardley's and others also make sinking wafers for bottom-dwelling fish.

Just to throw my .02 cents in,

If you can, go for Hikari.

As was stated, their a much higher quality. But also, their easier for the fishes to eat because their not as hard nor do they take as long to disolve into edible material.
