What is this white thing on my live rock I have a few of them scattered around on the live rock

It is in fact a sponge but is it a good or a bad one is what I wanna know

I'd like to know also. I don't believe any sponges are harmful. Everything I've found says they are filter feeders

I looked for that stuff before when I found it in my tank. Couldn't find it and stopped looking. We are all here to help each other
