Will ick die if item its on drys?

Okay, I washed out my 10g Q tank with a 10% bleach mixture, but will ick die on item such as my buckets and hoses when they dry? I use the same hoses and buckets for all my tanks hoping it won't really matter if I rinse them out and let them dry, or should I really have sperate hoses/buckets for each tank?

You *should* have separate buckets for use on the Q tank. If you are going to go to the trouble of Q'ing the fish, you might as well buy separate nets, buckets, etc...

At least it would give you peace of mind if nothing else.

If you rinse them with freshwater then this should kill any saltwater ick parasite. When in doubt let them sit in freshwater for a period of time.
