Okay..quick background, then the question.

I am moving into a new house. There is ALOT of large lime stone on the neighboring lot that I ask them to save for me (it came off my lot). They are from 6ft across by 2ft thick down to normal rocks. I obviously would like to incorporate these into my pond before they are removed. I dont have the $ to drop right now on a top of the line filtration system.

What I do have is a large pond pump that I was using to run my 120gal tank. Can I simply plumb this into the pond untill I can afford a better one.

I have several options.

A) Pump to plumbing to water fall and back into pond.

B) Pond to wet/dry trickel system (home made), pump, to plumbing, to water fall...back to pond.

C) just run the water through filter floss and back to the water fall.

What do ya'll think?

First off, I would have to say be carful with the limestone. I'm not sure, but over time I would think it would leech into the water raising your hardness and pH.

Secondly, what are the pond dimensions?
