Sorry for the vast amount of questions. I've been thinkingbi would love to have a Pleco, probably the Bristlenose. But not sure with my soft water and PH issues I can put any wood in my tank. Is there any wood I could use that wouldn't lower my PH?

Fake wood. ;) All natural woods can lower ph depending on how much tannins is in the wood. Woods also soften the water which is why it's harder to keep a higher pH. On the plus side, bristlenose plecos don't need wood in their diet so you can use the fake stuff or use other items for the pleco to call home. (y)

You've just made my day. Thank you.
