That behavior can also be exhibited to relay dominance or threats.

In this context, when the shaking is displayed by a male toward another male it can sometimes be followed by an immediate attack or pursuit (unreceptive females may receive the same treatment).

Yea I was noticing my cobal blue(blue) who I think is the dominant male was doing this than swimming after my red zebra(crush) he's been after that guy from the beginning even after a little over stock he seems to have it out for him lol nothing serious tho.
