Adding Cichlids

I have an 85 gallon AC tank that has been setup for about a year now. I have mostly mbuna and a couple peacocks and haps. If I wanted to add more do I need to order some that are the same size or bigger than the ones I have now? I already know about reaquascaping so everyone has to find a new place to defend.

If it was me I would try to get fish around the same size. Just dont over do it. Overstocking and moving decor around is good in some instances and bad in others.
