Fake plants and gravel turn yellow!!

I have a 30 gal tank with 4 yellow labs and my white gravel and fake plants are turning yellow. Is there something wrong with my tank?

Could be start of a brown algae growth. Wht is your lighting schedule?

I turn it on at about 7 am and leave it on till 9 ish pm

You may need to cut down on the length of time you leave your lights on. Are you at home this whole time?

Definitely turn that light off. Just turn it on when you want to see them. Unless they're in a dark basement with no windows, there's absolutely no need to have the lights on except to see them.

That said, you should consider a bigger tank for those fish. A 40 breeder is even small for them, most people will argue that they need a 4' tank.
