congrats garfy, good luck and to second the notion, my Malwai Peacocks do not eat at all while holding. She will probably get thin but should be ok.

Hmmm its hard to say... 40 maybe
It can vary (yellow labs, about one to three dozen fry, give or take).
The physical size and the females' previous mouthbrooding experience also seem to be factors (with larger and/or more experienced females having larger broods than smaller and/or inexperienced females).

Well she's not that big about 2" and her first brood so I guess maybe 20 max.
