How long w/o power?

I'm in Ohio and no where near the storm path but somehow I'm w/o power. How long can fish go without air and filtration? I'm sure there are variables such as tank Size and population but is there a general rule of thumb? Its been about 5 hrs and no one is at the top gasping yet.

Try to stir the water every half hour or so. It will help with aeration. Also no feeding while the power is out. And if your tank is cooling down wrap it in blankets (odd i know but it works) and if its heating up add some ice in floating cups so it cools the water but Dosent melt into the tank.

You can take a cup (or several), scoop out some water of tank, and pour it back in.

Thanks for the good advice! Power just kicked back on but now I know what to do next time.
