I am curious to all you African cichlid keepers on how many you have and what else, if anything, you keep with them in your tank? I have a 90g mbuna w 2 pictus. Just want to compare :)

That's a colorful bunch! Have you had them for long? I just have 2 pictus and they are doing great in there so far. They just act like they own the bottom half of the tank at feeding time and shove the mbunas out of the way lol. I'm worried about how that'll go over when everyone matures!

I've had them since February I believe. The bees, red empress and the tangerine tiger are around 4-5" big. The rest are 2.5-3.5" big and a couple yellow labs and mbamba are 1-1.5".

For the non Cichlids
The Pictus cats are 4-5" big
The shark is 5-6" long

The Pictus cats hide till the lights go out same as my turtle hahahaha I think they are all scared to death lol

The shark I had before anything from when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do. It does fine with them but they pick on him at times and the same with the turtle.

Im sure mine will become scaredy-cats when Africans get larger too lol! Looking thru your pics and I adore the turtle! It looks so cute just swimming away lol! I love turtles but I've never had one before. Love it!
