I like it. If you took out all the fake plants it would look even more natural and KILLER IMO. Just being honest. I had some fake plants once and 86'd them. Your tank looks really natural. Imagine without the green? Only takes a minute

You don't wanna clutter the tank up too much. I leave the front from side to side open for free swimming space and when they wanna hide the have all the places they can think of in the back portion of the tank.

Looking good though.

I can get some photos later. I actually got some new fish today too so I have the tank covered up right now to dim the light and keep the aggression down while they are new to the tank. I also moved some away from the left side just farther out so they had room like you said. They are liking the room on the sides

I agree with convict, I'm a big fan of the natural, rocky scape.

Yea I like the natural look too but the plants help break the line of sight with the African cichlids and it really helps with aggression in my tank at least

Oh ya, not hating on your setup, still looks really good IMO. And whatever works for you, after all, your the one who stares at it, not us.
