Moving Oscars to a slightly bigger tank.

I'm moving my 2 oscars from their 55 to a 75 gallon. The oscars have lived with black gravel substrate in the 55 for a year now. Would it be bad if I set up the 75 gallon with pool filtration sand? I will get a bigger tank in the future. The footprint of the 75 should give the oscars more room to move around. Both are around 7 inches and look very healthy.

Glad to hear about the bigger tank. The pool filter sand will be just fine for them.
