Well Its been a while since i have been on here. The tank is getting there well i think it's getting there! I keep moving, taking a step back, moving some more, adjusting the lights, moving some more etc...etc... Its an endless cycle. It still needs some TLC but it is looking better. Unfortunately pics never do this tank justice, the size cant be appreciated on pics either. Iv'e added some more rock and more stock today and the fish are looking good! It needs a nice group of something special (males and females) but not sure what yet. It also needs another tall piece of rock close to the centre of the tank and maybe some modules in the back corner on the sides to add a sense of depth. I'm also slowly getting there removing the black gravel with my sieve :D LOL as you can tell there still is some but not half as much as there was. I may leave a very small amount as a mixed look can look natural especially when you see the lake bed, but ill see with that one. A nice coat of algae will also make everything blend a bit more too, it's coming but may take some time. My HMA filter also arrived today, which is great! I think my cat was more impressed to be fair, he wouldn't leave it alone lol Now to sit and plan some stock, too many to choose from. Hope you like, just wish my camera was better

Dimensions 121cm X 121cm X 69cm 48" X 48" X 27" 1010L/305L Sump

Stock so far:

6 Tropheops aurora higga
6 Tropheops Olive tigers
6 Metriaclima OB Estherae
4 Labeotropheus Trewavasae Higga Reef
4 Metriaclima pearly kirondo

I've also just been looking through lots and lots of pics i have on photobucket and thought id show all my tanks that i've owned from the very first one back when i was 11 years old (roughly lol)... Certainly embarrassing looking back but at the time they were my prides and joy. I've really enjoyed the whole experience and brings back so many memories when i was a child. Biking up to my lfs for stock, visiting multiple fish places, breeding my first fish etc.. etc... Its great to have pics of everything and hopefully plenty more to come (y)

Looks great someday I will have one that big lol but one question is that laminate floor or real wood floor and is the tank sitting on it?

Thanks!
lol Its real wood and concrete flooring under the wood. :D

Well the tank and the floor look great!!! I was curious cause I just put down 12 mm laminate down in my apartment 2nd floor on 3/4 inch subfloor and going with either a 75g or 90g and not sure if I could set it on the laminate or not and the floor manufacture is not much help.

I sure it will be ok? Its strong flooring and the weight of a tank is spread out especially a 75/90G. I think it will be fine man (y)
Do you keep cichlids?

No my friend does but I have planted tank syndrome lol so that is what this one will be stepping up from a 29g but down the road I want a 75 or so for cichlids for now I get my cichlids fix at my friends especially this time of year big TV bigger fish tank lol and beer of course
