I am cycling a new 55gal and need ideas of what to stock. I already have another 55 with a JD in it that cannot have any tank mates because she kills anyone who enters! So I would like a more lively tank that I can have more then one fish in lol can anyone help with ideas on which direction, I can't decide.

Breeding cons or Sajica?
Angelfish display, with hatchets and sterbai cories?
Rainbow snakehead and suitable tankmates?
CA Cichlid singletons (Con, Firemouth, Rainbow, Sajica etc) with giant danios and suitable catfish?
Breeding Jewels?
Nano aquarium with lots of CPD's, Endlers, cories and scarlet badis?
Livebearers with bolivian rams, keyhole cichlids and cories?
A pair of Festivum with peaceful top and bottom dwellers?
African cichlids with a few syno's?
The possibilities go on..,,,,,

Since you are asking this in cichlid section I would do one of the following (If I didnt already have them :)

Group of thoricthys fish (firemouth) meeki, pasionis, elliot.
Group of Platinum Honduran red point
Group of rainbow cichlids

Add a school of dithers as well probably cherry barbs or a type of tetras.

If you are looking for something other than cichlids I would do

Green spotted puffer tank but requires brackish water.
Group of fancy plecos and try breeding.
Group of laser corries and try breeding them.
Couple of common comet gold fish I miss those believe it or not.
