Wow!! He looks huge in that tank! I did the conversion, like a 111 gallon tank or something?! Nice! Gotta love bow fronts! Make measurements practically impossible unless you remove the fish!
Hmm I wonder if one of those would do well with a black ghost knife, they require like 120 gallons, but that's my dream fish, and after looking yours up, those two would look awesome in a tank together IMO!

Think would look awesome with black ghost knife! I've had him the entire 14 years, I've had to change tank size around 6 or 7 times as he just kept growing!
Every other fish that's been in with him he has killed, I tryed quite a few different cichlids - he seems content now in his old age, the expert from the fish shop that delivered and helped set up my tank said synspilum can live up to 20 years if looked after and kept in the right conditions, so I must be doing something right

Bgk's need a 125+ at adult size. They can reach upwards of 18". Though it will take many years to reach that size.
