I have a 55 gal african cichlid tank with all fake plants,i was wondering if there is any lighting out there that will enhance the colours of the fish?

I have yellow labs and 2 electric blues anda blue dolphin, i dont have many cuz my old 25 gla just recently broke but i will be getting more probably a blue colour

i have a 55 gal with only 1 bulb on each side how would i mix the 2 different bulbs?if i put a different on each side wouldnt it look uneven?

50/50 and Actinic bulbs really bring out African Cichlid coloration. You could use two 50/50 bulbs. Or, if you upgrade your light strip, have one bulb an Actinic and the other a 50/50. We have a triple tube strip with two 50/50's and one Actinic.

Agree... Use 50/50 bulbs from your lfs. I've used them on SW tanks (until I discovered power compacts), and they work pretty good.
