Whats on my rocks

I was wondering what the white build up is on my African cichlid tank rocks. I know that they are brown because of algae but I like the way it looks. What is the white stuff?

It kind of looks like a fungus to me.

It could be calcium build up or maybe something to do with the food have you changed what you are feeding with

Looks like decomposition. Kind of like what you will see on a dead fish when its been in the water for a while. This could be due to the kind of food you feed them. Do you have a bottom feeder?
