Why would a angel fish shrink?

I have 4 angle fish that a pretty big, up until a couple days ago that was. I noticed today one of them is 50% smaller than the rest and she was the same size as the other ones. Anyone ever heard of this? I dont think I am crazy but I am sure she is smaller than she was last week.

Can't help you on the shrinking angel, but I'm pretty sure you mean angel fish, not angle fish... Sorry, couldn't help myself

is it just that its fins get shorter and smaller, making the angelfish look shorter? maybe that angelfish was bloated before, or had constipation or something.

I had a tetra that shrunk. It literally got smaller. Then it died. Keep an eye on it.

Do you have a QT tank. If so I would take seperate her.. I would treat the fish as if it were sick.. maybe the fish needs some time to get over what ever did this to it.. what kind of diet do you have it on? maybe you should give the fish a little better diet than the others.. It might be a reaction to some kind of social stress??
