How long for lights?

How long does everyone leave their lights on?

28gal reef nano with Lps corals, compact fluorescents.

Blues on at 1030am

Whites on at 11am

Whites off at 930pm

Moonlights on at 930pm

Blues off at 10pm

Moonlights off at 9am next day


Made it around my schedule so I can view them when I'm home in the afternoon

Kinda hard for me to get exact here. My lights start at 7am and ramp up slowly to noon where now there set at 60% then starting at 2pm they slowly ramp down until moonlight at 8pm then total darkness at 3am and 7am starts all over again.

I try to mimic the natural day out at the reefs where these creatures are collected. Anywhere between 8 and 12 hours would accomplish that.
