Water Flow in Biocube 32

I have been getting that flaky red algae in my tank recently along with other signs of slow water flow in my Biocube 32 so I picked up a small fan to provide more circulation. I'm wanting to know where to put it.

The sump intakes are in the upper and lower right back sides. The water pump pushes water in from the upper left back side. This is where I currently have the fan.

Advice? Is this a good spot?

It's a good spot if it works. I usually suggest having powerhead pointed up so you have surface agitation for co2 exchange.
