sorry i dont have an answer to your question but i am just curious as to why you wanna do 24hrs?

corals will close up when they have had enough/too much lighting. I cannot imagine this would be a good thing. This is just my thougths on it, I would also think nuisance algaes would become problematic.

I think it would stress the corals. Increase algae and possibly cause heat issues.

are you planning on lighting your tank 24/7 ... why not get a timer?

algae algae algae ... i only light my refuge 24/7

Let me clarify, this is not something I am doing. I am a very experienced reef keeper (please see my site ranking for those who are no familiar with me) and would not try something without extensive research. I was just thinking I had never heard of anyone doing it and I was curious if it was possible. Thanks for your input.
