Aptasia in sump

One piece of LR in my refugium part of my sump has 2 heads of aptasia. I figured as long as it is just in there it should be ok... what do you guys think?
I do have aptasiaX at home and know how to get rid of it, just wonder if I need to bother worrying about it if it is in a desolate part already

Me, i would take care of it, thinking it might make its way into the dt eventually.

i would take care of it because they are carnivorous. anything that bumps into their tentacles get's sucked up and processed. a refugium is supposed to be a place, free of predation, where pods and such can grow unchecked.

agreed i would get rid of it.i used a syringe with lemon juice and got rid of mine early in the game.the best analogy i can give is like weeding your outdoor lawn.get them as you see them.dont give them an inch.
