I bought a pack of Blood worms for the first time. They asked me to keep in the freezer. Yesterday I took them out and put inside the aquarium.. Looks like they are dead ones.. Are these supposed to be alive or not ?.

If they were frozen no, they are not. You can buy them alive, and you put in refrigerator. Usually in small amt. of water in fishbag. If they go bad, it will stink up your whole house.

they are suppose to be dead,

but i think there is a small chance that frozen blood worms can harbor eggs, or parasites that can hurt the tank although i think this is rare. if im wrong someone please correct me

Where can I get a live one ?. LFS ?.

Most good LFS have them. You will need do water changes on the worms too, they get pretty stinky and dirty if you don't use them right away. Water will get "bloody looking".

Bloodworms are not too messy to feed with.I always stayed away for fear of raising nitrates.
