Bristleworm breeding

How do bristleworms multiply? I have a 55gal that crashed and I'm now starting it back and have noticed that my largest (at least a foot) bristleworm is still living.. are they asexual or breed by segmenting or how do they do it?

They can reproduce both sexually and asexually. They can either split and become two (fission), or release eggs and sperm into the water column.
