browm algae...

hey guys/gals,

had my tank about 4 weeks now and noticing some browm algae in some areas of my tank..is this normal?

Generally nearing the end of the cycle period your tank will have many different types of algaes and brown algea blooms (diatoms) are one of them and quite natural.

What water was used to start the tank?
