Can I feed my fish some clams I got from Chicken of the Sea? Figured it couldn't hurt but some ingredients in here sorta raised my eyebrow..." calcium disodium, sodium pyrophosphate, and sodium sulfite....These seem to be all preservatives but should it be okay?

Thanks!

I use clams in my home made blender mush. I get my clams from the seafood section of the deli area. Honestly I would try to use the freshest product I could get. Crack the clams open and cut the body out of the shell into a blender with some shrimp, and other assorted seafood. Blend till nice and thick like milk shake. Put into freezer bags and press till its like 1/4" thick. THen freeze.

all of the other ingredients that are added to keep the product from spoiling couldn't be any good for your tank. At the verry least you could end up with a nasty algae bloom from high phosphates.
