Cleaning Glass Tops

On my saltwater tank i get a lot of build up of salt and mineral depsits on the glass top of my aquarium, i use to be able to use vinger and water with an algea pad and get it off, but latly there seems to be a layer of the minerals that wont come off, anybody have suggestions on how to make the glass clear again.

razor blade? dump the stuff back in the tank where it belongs.

soory should clarify, its not just built up, but its almost apart of the glass, its hazy, after i remove the layers, by scrubbing or razor.

Why not just remove the glass top? You will get better light pentration into your tank and your corals will love you for it. Just make sure your light fixture is up high enough.

I don't know for sure about SW, but hydrogen peroxide works great on my FW.

i got jumpers can't take it off, thanx for the suggestion of Hydro perox, next time i clean it ill try it out.
