Clownfish!

I have a clown in each of my saltwater tanks. If I put them together, will they become a pair? They aren't young anymore. I have had them for a while.

Do you know the gender of them?

Not 100%. The one in the bigger tank is larger, the one in the smaller tank is smaller.

I was told by my neibor that has had a saltwater tank for over 10- years that they will fight then one of them will turn into a female if ther both males

No they won't pair up. Since they've been left alone being the only clownfish in each tank, they would've both become females.
